What the AI can do
AI Q&A relies on your documents to provide precise, contextualized understanding. It can:
Search for information directly inside your documents, even in long or complex files.
Interpret and generate complete answers based on one or several documents at the same time.
Summarize, translate, or explain document content to help you get straight to the essentials.
Analyze document properties and metadata to answer specific questions.
Aletiq is able to analyse your documents and automatically identify references to other documents. During this analysis, Aletiq AI suggests creating the corresponding links in the PLM, within the “Cited document” field, to improve traceability and contextualisation between documents.
What the AI cannot do yet
Today, the AI only analyzes documents.
It cannot yet answer questions about:
CAD files (3D models)
Parts
Bills of materials
Manufacturing routings
These elements will be added to its analysis scope over time.
Security & data protection
Data security remains paramount:
Strict access-rights enforcement: the AI can only use documents you already have access to. No risk of exposing restricted information.
Customizable document scopes: certain document sets can be excluded from AI features. To configure exclusion rules, contact your Customer Success Manager.
