What the AI Can Do today
AI Q&A draws on your documents stored in the DMS (Document Management System) to provide accurate, context-aware responses. You can ask it to:
🔍 Search for information directly within your documents, even across lengthy or complex files
💬 Interpret and formulate complete answers, drawing on one or several documents simultaneously
📄 Summarise, translate or explain the content of your documents to help you get straight to the point
🏷️ Analyse document properties and metadata in order to answer specific questions
🔗 Automatically identify references to other documents (shown as Cited Documents in the details panel)
📦 Find the products linked to a given document
What the AI Cannot Yet Do
At present, the AI analyses documents only. It cannot yet respond to questions relating to:
✖️ CAD files (3D files)
✖️ Products (parts and tooling)
✖️ Bills of materials
✖️ Manufacturing processes
These elements will be added to its analysis scope over time.
Security & data protection
Data security remains paramount:
🏰 Strict access rights enforcement: the AI can only use documents you already have permission to access. There is no risk of restricted information being disclosed.
⚙️ Customisable document scopes: certain document sets can be excluded from AI features. To configure these exclusion rules, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
