💡 This feature is part of Aletiq's AI features. If the link suggestions don't appear, they haven't been enabled on your environment yet (see the article Getting started with Aletiq AI).
Why find links between objects with AI?
Aletiq AI helps you find the documents applicable to an item and rebuild the links of your documentation system. Rather than browsing the database by hand to connect documents, products and cited references, the AI scans the content and suggests the relevant links.
Your teams save time and secure future quality audits: traceability between your objects is built faster and more completely.
🎯 In every case, the AI guides and suggests, but never makes changes on the user's behalf. Each suggested link must be checked, then accepted or rejected by you.
The 3 available use cases
1. Find the documents cited by a document
From a document's detail pane, start the search for cited documents. In the window used to link cited documents, Aletiq AI displays its link suggestions:
The code shown in blue is the one found in the document.
Below it is the link to the suggested cited document.
The Find in document button lets you check the source, so you can accept or reject the suggested link.
2. Find the products a document applies to
Still from the document's detail pane, start the search for the products it applies to. It works exactly like cited documents: the AI suggests links, the code found is highlighted in blue, and the Find in document button lets you check the source before accepting or rejecting each suggestion.
3. Find all the documents that apply to a product
From the product space, start the search for all the documents that apply to that product. Aletiq AI scans the documentation database to find references to this product. The suggestions are listed as before, and the Find in document button lets you check the source before validating.
