Before starting
Every user can search and display documents (according to the access rules in place), but only Manager and Admin users can update them
Documents view
The Documents view can be accessed throught the "Files" tab.
It works as any other view in Aletiq : you can adjust the filters and columns to organize what documents and what properties are displayed.
Updating a document
Once you have found your document, you can now update its properties or acccess the different revisions that you can display, download or update :
Good to know
Documents with .xlsx, .docx and .pptx can be directly modified through our Aletiq plugin for Office
Only revisions with Draft status can be modified
Creating a document
You can also create a new document directly through the Documents view, either with the "New document", drag and drop of files directly onto the view (up to 50 documents), or directly through the Office plugin:
Good to know
Creating a new document through the plugin requires that the file has been saved locally first
It is also possible to create documents by duplicating an existing document (for example by defining template documents)

Once the editing of a revision is complete, you can launch an approval and distribution workflow through your defined templates:
