The Parts page of Aletiq allows you to manage and contextualize the parts created and modified with the CAD plugin.
User without CAD licence can also access to this page, being able to visualize the parts and download their .step conversion file on their own
Searching a part and updating its properties
The page Part or Standard parts area is accessible from the "Files" tab:
It works the same way as the document or article page : from there you can filter the view and search for the desired part based on its id or name:
The details tab of a part allows to view or edit its properties, and to access to the different revisions to view them directly in Aletiq or to dowload them:
Good to know
The files related to parts or assemblies can be downloaded in their source format or in .step
The files related to drawings can be downloaded in their source format, in .pdf or in .dwg
Validating a part throught a workflow
Similarly to what is done for the documents, you can launch a workflow to validate parts with a dedicated model:
