What should I do if I can't view my document?

Office preview feature

Microsoft Office documents are displayed in PDF format by Aletiq. A watermark contianing the revision index, status and digital signature is automatically added.

In the event of an anomaly, Aletiq may not be able to convert the Office document to PDF. The following banner would be displayed:

Manual Reload of the source file

If your document status is draft with an unavailable preview feature, follow these steps:

  1. Start by Locking the document,

  2. Download the latest version of the Source File to your computer ,

  3. Then, press Load new file,

  4. In the form, press Browse to re-upload the source file,

  5. Press Upload,

  6. Do not forget to unlock the file by pressing Locked,

  7. Refresh your browser and the preview feature is available.

🎯 Pressing the View icon will open Aletiq's watermarked PDF version of the source file.

Manual Upload of a PDF file for Preview

💡Manually uploading a PDF file bypass the conversion process. Aletiq will still automatically apply the watermark and digital signatures.

If you wish to upload a different PDF file for preview, follow these steps:

  1. Start by Locking the document,

  2. Download to your computer the last version of the Source File,

  3. Modify the file and manually convert it to PDF

  4. Then, press Load new file,

  5. In the form, press Browse to upload your PDF file,

  6. Press Upload,

  7. Aletiq will add the watermark to the PDF,

  8. Do not forget to unlock the file by pressing Locked

⚠️ This option is only available when the document's status is Draft.
