All CAD files can be imported into Aletiq, but only certain formats benefit from full support. This can limit three features:

Automatic BOM recognition on import — links between assemblies and components may not be established if the format is not supported

3D part visualisation in Aletiq — preview is not available for all formats

CAD plug-ins — available only for certain 3D modelling software

Aletiq plug-ins let you work directly from your CAD software without switching back and forth with the web app. They are available for:

SolidWorks — versions SW2017 to SW2024

CATIA V5 — versions V5R25 to V5R33

- SolidWorks — versions SW2017 to SW2024
- CATIA V5 — versions V5R25 to V5R33
- Inventor — version 2023
- Others
