Features affected by compatibility
All CAD files are compatible with Aletiq, but only certain formats are properly supported. This can result in a degradation of features, impacting three aspects:
➡️Automatic recognition of CAD nomenclature upon file loading in Aletiq. In the absence of compatibility, Aletiq won't be able to establish proper links between assemblies and their components.
➡️Visualization of parts in Aletiq, through the "👁️ Visualize" option, will not be possible for non-compatible formats, leading to a lack of preview.
➡️CAD plugins, which facilitate direct work in 3D modeling software from the application, are only available for specific software.
These features do not have compatibility with the same formats. Please refer to the list below to find the compatible software for each feature.
