Creating and managing watermarks

Watermarks are useful to share warnings to users

Key principles

  • ⚠️ A watermark highlights key information about a document for users (e.g. the case of a confidential document).

  • 👀 In Aletiq, watermarks are based on document properties and can be visible to all users.

  • ➡️ Only users with administrator profile can set up a watermark

Seting up watermarks

In Aletiq, to set watermarks on documents :

  1. Go to Administration

  2. Click on Watermarks

  3. Click on New watermark

  4. Fill in the fields in the creation form:

    1. Name watermark

    2. Enter the text to be displayed

    3. Select a color if required 🔴🟢

    4. Select a property

    5. Select one or more values

    6. Confirm watermark creation

✅ The watermark is automatically applied to documents associated with the selected property values.

Modifying an existing watermark

In Aletiq, to modify an existing watermark :

  1. Go to Administration

  2. Click on Watermarks

  3. Find the watermark to be modified

  4. Click Modify
