Start a New Project in Aletiq

To create a new project, go to the Projects page:

  1. Click + New project to open the creation form

  2. Select a template from the dropdown list

  3. Enter a project name, description, owner, and start date

Link Objects (Documents, Parts, Products) to Your Project

Aletiq lets you contextualize technical data within the project.

  • Go to the Documents, Parts, or Products pages

  • For example, in the Documents page, click ♾️ Link documents

  • You can also create a new object (e.g., + New part) – it will be automatically linked to the project

Associate Documents and Parts as Deliverables

Aletiq allows you to manage deliverables within the scope of your project.
Each task may include one or more deliverables, and each deliverable may consist of one or more documents or parts.

To do this:

  1. Go to the Tasks page

  2. Click on a task to view its details

  3. Click + Document or + Part to link a deliverable and its revision

  4. Create additional deliverables as needed

💡 You can link, duplicate, or create a document or part directly from the task.

Track Project Progress

  1. Go to the Project Home page to view ongoing tasks and deliverables

  2. Click on a task or deliverable to view associated information

  3. Go to the Tasks page to see all pending activities
→ You can adjust the duration of an open task, for example

  4. Update the status of deliverables associated with a task
→ Then update the task status accordingly

Add Tasks and/or Milestones at Any Time

You can add new tasks or milestones during the course of the project, along with related deliverables, starting from the current date.

⚠️ Make sure to update task and milestone dependencies to maintain a logical and coherent timeline.

Enable Synchronized Scheduling for Your Project

⚠️ Ensure the Synchronous planning option is enabled beforehand.

When this setting is active, dragging and rescheduling a task will automatically reschedule all its dependent tasks.
