Create and manage views

A view is a personalised display of documents or other objects (parts, articles, tools, passports, users, workflows, tasks) managed on Aletiq. In a view, you can :

  • Filter the objects to be displayed (display only quality management system documents, for example)

  • Sort objects (display recently modified items first, for example)

  • Choose which properties to display and the order in which to display them

Views are created and modified from the Documents, Items, Parts, etc. areas, and are presented in the form of tabs.

💡 Views give users rapid access to a range of data, such as :

  • Quality Management System documents

  • my tasks

  • my documents

  • finished products

  • etc. ...

⚠️ Only Administrators can create and modify views and share them to the whole Organization. Manager roles can only create Views whose distribution perimeter will be limited to themselves.

Modify an existing view

Modify the scope of distribution of a view

Delete a view

⚠️ Its scope of distribution must be in the Organisation.

  • Improve the efficiency of the EDM,

  • Make work easier by presenting information in a clear and relevant way.
