  • In Aletiq, the Passport object represents the physical instance of a product, also referred to as a work order or serial number.

  • Passports are typically synchronized automatically in Aletiq via an ERP integration interface.

  • Each passport can be associated with a definition index and a manufacturing process index, allowing for full configuration traceability.

Create One or multiple Passports

  1. Go to the Passports tab of an article or to the global passports page

  2. Click on New passports

  3. Fill in the form (ID, manufacturing index, passport properties), then click Create

💡 Tip:
You can create multiple passports by separating each ID with a comma ","

Apply Property Values to a Passport

  1. Go to the Passports tab of an article or to the general passports page

  2. Select one or more passports to edit

  3. Click Edit a property, select a property, then choose the value to apply

  4. Confirm the update

Attach One or More Files to a Passport

💡 Tip:
You can attach files to passports (e.g., deviation sheet or non-conformity report). These files can be retrieved through Quick Search in the Files section.

  1. Go to the Passports page or the article’s passport tab

  2. Click Open on the passport’s row to open the detail panel

  3. In the Files tab (right side), select the file, choose a file type, then confirm the upload
